I stopped using a level for setting forms and it saved me an hour on a slab pour

Been doing concrete for about 8 years and always used a level to get my forms perfect. Last week I had a driveway pour in Franklin and was running late. Decided to just pull a string line tight and eyeball it off that. Slab came out dead flat and I finished an hour early. Anyone else skip the level and just go by sight on simple flatwork?

@murray.spencer caught a dip my eye would've missed, so levels save time fixing mistakes later.

A 2ft level woulda caught that dip faster than a 3ft one.
