Got a call for a simple 10x10 patio patch in the rain last Thursday.
The old mix kept washing out, so I had to tarp the whole area and wait. What should have been a two hour job turned into a full day. What's your go-to move for wet weather pours?

Man, that sounds like a total nightmare. Getting stuck in the rain is the worst, especially when it turns a quick patch into a whole day. My go-to is a big pop-up canopy if I see any chance of weather, but sometimes you just get caught. Tarping it off was the right call, even though it's a huge pain. Nothing worse than watching your work just wash away.

Ugh, tell me about it. I had that happen last fall, got a perfect coat of mud on a wall and then a downpour came out of nowhere. I mean, it was just heartbreaking to see it all slide right off. You're totally right, the tarp is a pain but it's better than starting over.

Popups are good but they don't hold up in real wind either. Learned that one the hard way at a job site last summer. Tarps are just the lesser evil honestly.
