Dropped $180 on a used wheelbarrow with a flat-free tire and I have kicked myself for waiting so long
I do mostly small flatwork around Lincoln, driveways and patios, nothing huge. For about 6 or 7 years I hauled mud in a cheap wheelbarrow with a regular pneumatic tire, and every few pours it would go soft or catch a nail and I would be fighting it all day. About 4 months ago I paid $180 for a used one off Marketplace with a flat-free tire and a wider tub. Sounds dumb for a tool that simple, but I stopped losing air and started moving more mud per trip because the thing rolls over rebar and cords instead of digging in. I did not realize how much time I was burning stopping to pump a tire or drag a wobbly load. The wider tub also means fewer trips to the truck and my back notices by 3 in the afternoon. Only downside is it is a little heavier to lift into the trailer at the end of the day. What is the one cheap upgrade you all wish you had made way earlier?
