Realized thermal paste pumps out way faster on vertical GPUs

Bought a vertical mount kit for my 3080 last month, mostly because the sag was bugging me. After about 3 weeks I noticed temps climbing from 68 to 78 under load, so I pulled the card and checked the paste. It had spread out uneven and pooled near the edges, way worse than when it sat horizontal for a year. Did anyone else see this with riser cables, or is it just my luck with the bracket?
