I finally started using a thermal camera for diagnostics and it changed my whole process
For years I just used my hands and a temp gun, but after a tough repair on a gaming PC in Tampa last month, I borrowed a Flir One. The before shot showed a single hot spot on the GPU, but after reapplying paste and adjusting the fan curve, the after image showed the heat spread evenly across the whole chip. That visual proof took the guesswork out. What other diagnostic tools have you guys found that give you that kind of clear before-and-after evidence?

Wait, Tampa? That humidity alone could mess with readings. Did you account for ambient conditions before trusting those images?

My last thermal scan looked like a ghost story.

My cousin in Tampa lost a drone to that soup, @abby_wilson51.
