Vent: Gulfport rig platform had corroded tie-offs everywhere

I was working a job on a platform near Gulfport last month and noticed three of the main tie-off points near the dive ladder had serious rust pitting. My tender pointed it out after we already anchored and I had to scramble to find backup points before I could even suit up. Has anyone else run into crappy maintenance on older platforms down there?

Third corroded tie-off I've seen in six months, it's like nobody checks anything anymore.

Used to roll my eyes at safety complaints but not anymore after seeing how bad this problem really is.
