That stat about nitrogen narcosis hitting divers at 100 feet surprised me

I was reading through the DAN accident data last night and found out something wild. Over 60% of recreational diving incidents between 100 and 130 feet have some element of narcosis involved, even with experienced divers. I always figured it was mostly a deep tech diver problem past 150 feet. Has anyone else noticed the effects sneaking up on them around the 100 foot mark?

I narced at 70 feet once and tried to high-five a grouper.

That 100 foot figure is a bit off, narcosis can hit way shallower for some people.

My buddy Dave got narced at 60 feet once on a quarry dive, just checking his pressure gauge and suddenly he's convinced the silt is laughing at him. He said it hit like a wave of being tipsy but way faster. We all react different down there I guess.
