Diving in Hood Canal changed my mind about dry suits

After 8 years of wet suit diving in Puget Sound, I did a job in Hood Canal last month and watched the water temp drop from 48 to 41 degrees between two stops, so now I'm saving up for a dry suit, has anyone else made that switch mid-career?

41 degrees is basically refrigerator temperature, so congrats on finally seeing the light. I made that switch after my third dive in the Sound where my hands went numb trying to unclip my camera. Dry suits are a pain to learn, but nothing beats not feeling like you've been dipped in liquid ice for an hour. Nobody warns you about the crotch strap adjustment process either, that's its own special kind of fun.
