Can we talk about dry suits with built-in boots?

I used to think built-in boots on a dry suit were a gimmick. After a job at the Port of Seattle last spring, I had to swap suits three times because my booties kept tearing. The company finally issued me a suit with bonded boots and I haven't had a single leak in 8 months. Anyone else find these more reliable than the separate bootie setups?
