That Wednesday last fall when three separate subs showed up at 6:30 AM unannounced and I had to coordinate them all in the rain

The framers, electrician, and drywall crew all rolled up at the same time to a locked job site outside Phoenix and I spent the next four hours playing traffic controller in my truck while my phone died twice and the only coffee I got was a stale gas station cup somebody left in the Porta-John - has anyone else had a morning like that where everything just snowballed at once?

I used to think subs actually coordinated with each other, but that rainy morning in Phoenix completely changed my mind.

That Wednesday last fall" - oh man, that line gave me flashbacks just reading it. My buddy Mark had almost the exact same thing happen when he was building his addition. He had the concrete guys show up at 6 AM and the HVAC installers pulled in right behind them, and then the siding crew he wasn't expecting until next week just rolled in with a full truck. He was still in his pajamas trying to find the keys to the storage shed while his dog got loose and ran through everyone's equipment. I guess the subs don't talk to each other ever, they just show up whenever they feel like it. He said by noon he'd been to Home Depot three times and hadn't eaten anything but a gas station granola bar.
