That inspector in Nashville who called my crew 'paper champions' still bugs me 4 months later

He walked right past 3 code violations on another site and then flagged us for having a coffee cup on an empty equipment rack, has anyone else dealt with an inspector who picks the weirdest battles?

Isn't that always the way, they'll let the big stuff slide but come down hard on a coffee cup like it's a felony?

Wipe it down with a microfiber cloth before you hand it over, that usually shuts them up.

Ha seriously though. I once handed over a perfectly working PS4 with a dusty fan grill and the guy acted like I was trying to sell him a biohazard. Like my bad for playing games instead of keeping a white glove inspection standard.
