Pushed back on a $6k TPO re-roof for a strip mall in Mesa, lost the bid, then the winner called me 3 weeks later
Thought my number was padded, so I walked the roof twice and cut my price to win it. Turns out the other guy missed 4 ponding spots and a bad drain, and the owner ended up paying him twice to rip it back up. What do you all put in writing to show a client where the real cost lives?
