Just dropped $1200 on a new Hilti TE 6-A36 cordless rotary hammer
It was for a big concrete demo job in an old office building downtown. The thing chewed through the slab like nothing, but the battery life was way shorter than they claimed. I got maybe 45 minutes of hard use per charge, which meant buying two extra batteries for another $400. Anyone else run into this with the newer brushless demo hammers?

How short was the battery on demo mode?

The store near me had the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra in demo mode and it went from full charge to dead in about 3 hours and 15 minutes. I stood there watching it while my wife was shopping, and the battery percentage dropped roughly 1% every 2 minutes. What people don't realize is that demo mode also keeps the processor running hot with that looping video, which makes the battery degrade faster over time too. The store employees told me they have to plug those display models in every night or they'd be dead by morning. So yeah, demo mode is basically designed to drain the battery as fast as possible and it's not realistic at all.

Demo mode is a total battery killer. They run the screen at max brightness with a looping video. Saw a tablet in a store drop from 100% to 20% in maybe two hours. It's basically the worst case scenario they can create. Makes the battery life look way worse than normal use.
