I was cutting a concrete slab for a Reno job and realized my blade was backwards

The cut was taking forever and throwing way more dust than normal. My new guy, Jake, just quietly asked if I wanted him to flip the diamond blade, and I felt like a total rookie. Anyone else ever had a moment like that with a basic tool setup?

Happens to the best of us, man. That little arrow on the blade is easy to miss when you're in a hurry.

Right, like mark361 said, but also when you're just tired.

That little arrow is basically invisible after the blade gets dirty. I've done the same thing with a circular saw blade more than once, and I'm not even in a hurry. Mark361 is right that it happens, but I don't buy that it only happens when you're rushing. Sometimes you just grab the tool and go, brain completely offline. It's a humbling moment for sure, especially when the new guy spots it.
