Dropped $3800 on a used mini excavator at an auction in Ft Worth, still kicks myself over that one
Bought it sight unseen based on two blurry pics, and the hydraulic pump was shot before I even got it off the trailer. My mechanic quoted $4200 to fix it, so I sold it a month later for $1500 to a guy who just wanted the tracks. Anybody got a good rule for when a used machine is actually worth the gamble?
