Compared spray foam vs batts on a warehouse job last month, one was way faster

Got a 5,000 square foot warehouse shell to insulate. We bid it with fiberglass batts, but the owner asked if we'd try closed cell spray foam instead. We went with the foam and it was done in two days versus the week we budgeted for batts. The trade off was cost though... that foam was almost double the price. Has anyone else found spray foam worth the extra money on bigger commercial jobs?

Double the money for two days of work sounds like a no brainer if you got the budget for it.

yeah @grantadams that's exactly what I thought too. last year I took a weekend gig hauling furniture for a friend's cousin. paid triple my normal rate. two days, $1200. turned out the guy changed his mind halfway through and I had to carry a giant sectional back down three flights of stairs. still worth it though. I just made sure to take photos before I started moving anything. saved my ass when he tried to claim I scratched his hardwood.

Isn't two days of work way better than the regular grind though? @grantadams, you'd think I'd be all over that, but my track record with "quick money" usually ends with me accidentally breaking something expensive.
