Caught a crew using the wrong anchor type on a curtain wall

Watched a sub install sleeve anchors instead of wedge anchors on a storefront in Phoenix last Thursday. The inspector flagged it before the glass went up, but the rework cost us 6 hours and 2 full panels. Has anyone else had to babysit anchor selection on engineered specs?

Man, I feel your pain on this one. I once spent a whole afternoon watching a guy put in toggle bolts on a brick veneer because the drawing said "expansion anchor" and he decided that meant anything with threads. The inspector walked by, took one look, and just shook his head like I was the one who screwed up. I swear I've got a sixth sense now for when a fastener is about to cost me a rework. By the time we fixed it, I'd aged about ten years and my foreman was calling me "the anchor babysitter." Honestly, you'd think the crew would read the one line on the spec sheet that says the exact type, but nope, that's a luxury.
