Was dead set against digital comics until I tried a tablet on a rainy Saturday in Portland
I was that guy for years. Paper or nothing, right? Then I had a three hour bus ride and forgot my bag with all my floppies. Buddy handed me his old Samsung tablet with the DC app. Read through The Long Halloween on it. The zoom feature alone sold me. Now I still buy physical for my favorite runs but digital for catching up on older stuff I missed. Anyone else make the switch and feel like a traitor at first?

Wait, a three hour bus ride without your bag of floppies? I'd have panicked and probably tried to read the safety card thirty times. But yeah, that zoom feature is a game changer. I remember the first time I used it on a Dave McKean cover for Sandman, suddenly I could see every little brush stroke and texture I'd missed for years in the physical copy. Still feels a little dirty saying it out loud though.

Isn't it funny how we never really see anything until technology forces us to slow down and look closer, you know?

@daniel593, did you ever try zooming in on the little background details in Preacher too?
