Walked into a comic shop downtown and felt like a time traveler.
Stopped by Cosmic Comics on 5th last weekend, the same place I used to go as a kid in the 90s. They still have the same squeaky floorboards and that smell of old paper and plastic, but now there's a whole wall of Funko Pops where the back issue bins used to be. Does anyone else miss digging through those random boxes for hours?

Nah, Funko Pops took over around 2015, not the 90s.

Funko Pops didn't really "take over" until the early 2010s but what's wild is how they basically just ripped off the whole bobblehead concept from the 60s and added big eyes. The real 90s collectible craze was Beanie Babies and those weird creepy My Pet Monster toys nobody talks about anymore. It's like people forget all the plastic junk we had before.
