Talked to a collector at my local shop who made me rethink my whole pull list
I was at Third Eye Comics in Annapolis last Saturday grabbing the new Ultimate Spider-Man run, and this older guy next to me said he only reads indie titles from small presses now because big two comics feel like homework. He showed me a few issues from a publisher I never heard of, and the art and story were way more creative than anything I've been reading. Has anyone else had a random conversation at a shop change how you look at what you buy?

Think that older guy was onto something about the big two feeling like homework.

Yeah that older guy probably had a point. I spent two hours last night trying to find something good to watch and ended up flipping between Netflix and Prime for 45 minutes before giving up. At this point I need a flowchart to figure out what's actually included with my subscription and what's going to cost me extra. They keep adding all these ads and tiers and it feels like work. I miss when you could just turn on the TV and watch whatever without all this overhead.
