Rant: That one Saturday when 3 different fans argued with me about Batman's no-kill rule

I was at a small con in Portland last month and it felt like every hour someone wanted to fight me over Batman. First guy at 10 AM said Batman kills all the time in the movies so the comic rule doesn't matter. Then a second guy at noon yelled that Batman should kill the Joker no matter what. By 3 PM a third person told me I was wrong for saying Batman's rule is what makes him interesting. I just wanted to browse some back issues without getting lectured. Has anyone else had a day where too many fans just wanted to argue instead of chat?

Did the Joker guy ever explain how Batman's rogues gallery survives without a no-kill rule?

Oh man, my buddy Dave got cornered at a con by some dude who spent 20 minutes explaining why Wolverine would win every fight. He finally just said "cool" and walked away mid-sentence.

Wait, you think Wolverine wouldn't win every fight? I gotta push back on that because Logan's healing factor is basically a cheat code. He can take a bullet to the brain and be fine in a few seconds, plus his adamantium skeleton means you can't just break his bones or stab him in the heart. @graygonzalez, you get where I'm coming from here, right? The only way to really stop him is to drown him or blow him to pieces, and most villains don't carry around giant magnets. Even the Hulk has a hard time putting him down for good because Wolverine just keeps getting back up. I get that the guy at the con was annoying, but the logic is still solid.
