Overheard a guy at my LCS say his pull list is down to 3 books

I was digging through the dollar bin at my local shop last Saturday and this older guy was telling the owner he's down to just Amazing Spider-Man, Batman, and Saga. Made me think about how I'm still pulling like 8 books a month but only actually reading half of them by the time the next issue drops. How do you guys decide what to keep on your pull list and what to drop?

Saw some article saying the average comic is like $5 now. That adds up fast when you're pulling a stack. Probably both reasons for that guy - wallet and boredom.

3 bucks is wild but I gotta ask - is he dropping stuff because he's not feeling the stories or because comics are just too damn expensive now? lol
