Just realized I was reading comics wrong for years

I used to only buy brand new single issues from the big two, spending about $60 a month. A guy at my local shop in Portland saw my stack and asked why I never tried back issues or indie books. He said I was missing out on whole stories and saving no money. It hit me that I was just chasing the new thing every Wednesday instead of finding stuff I actually loved. Has anyone else made a big switch in how they collect or read?

Yeah, he's the type who'd complain about free coffee. Some people just live to be unhappy.

Hold up, I actually know that guy. He's not a buzzkill, he's just super honest. Like, if the free coffee is burnt, he'll say it. He's a good dude, just doesn't fake being happy about bad coffee.
