I used to buy every variant cover of a #1 issue

Back in 2019 I dropped like $60 on 4 different covers for one Batman issue, but now I just grab the standard cover and call it a day. When did you stop feeling the need to collect every variant?

Oh man, I did the exact same thing with Spider-Man comics. I had like 5 different covers for one issue and then realized I was just wasting money for art I barely looked at. Now I just grab the regular one too and move on.

Read a comic shop owner saying variants are just a way to milk collectors.
