Found out Alan Moore never actually read Watchmen after he wrote it
I was reading an interview from like 10 years ago where he said he gave the script to the artist and never looked at the finished book. Never cracked it open once. Wild considering it's basically the bible for how we think about superhero comics now. Has anyone else run into a creator who just checked out on their own famous work?

I've ghostwritten four tenant newsletters I never proofread after hitting send.

23 buildings I managed for a guy named Frank who insisted every newsletter start with "Greetings, valued residents" even though half the units were empty. It was always the same four topics: rent reminders, parking rules, trash chute complaints, and his "monthly inspirational quote" that never made sense. One time I spelled "refrigerator" three different ways in the same paragraph and nobody said a word, including @parker_thomas, who probably knows that feeling too well. The best part is when someone would complain about a typo six months later, like the newsletter was a sacred document.
