That latte art snob at the counter changed how I order
Last month at a little spot in Portland, I asked for oat milk in my cappuccino and the guy behind the counter gave me this long lecture about how it ruins the crema and I should just drink a flat white. He was pretty rude about it, but then he made me a sample side by side and honestly the oat milk version did taste flatter and less sweet on top. Do you guys think baristas should push back when a customer's choice goes against the craft, or is that just gatekeeping?
