Rant: wasted $60 on a cold brew maker that barely works
Picked up a Takeya cold brew pitcher last month because everyone raves about it. First batch came out super weak and watery even after 24 hours. Followed their instructions to the letter and still got bad results. Anyone else have better luck with a different brand for cold brew?

Used to think all cold brew makers were the same but that Takeya one totally changed my mind.

Wait, have you tried making cold brew in a regular mason jar before switching to the Takeya? I was the same way, I used to just throw grounds in a jar and strain through a sieve, total mess every time. The Takeya's fine mesh filter is what really sold me, it catches all the silt without needing paper filters or cheesecloth. I've had mine for like two years and it still works perfectly, no rust or anything. The airtight seal on the lid is also huge, keeps it fresh in the fridge for like a week without any weird flavors. Honestly it's the best $20 I ever spent on coffee gear, can't believe I waited so long to get one.
