Rant: blew $240 on a fancy grinder and my $18 blade one did better

Bought a flat burr grinder for $240 three months back. Thought it would fix my sour pour overs. It did not. Same beans, same scale, same kettle. Dug out the cheap hand grinder from my junk drawer last Saturday and the cup was sweeter and fuller. Anyone else find that the price tag lies, or did I just get a dud burr set?
