My doctor said cut caffeine, so I went decaf and actually love it.

After my annual check-up, I had to switch to decaf coffee for health reasons. I've found that with careful brewing, decaf can taste just as complex as the real thing, which my coffee group thinks is nuts. How come decaf always gets dismissed before people even give it a fair shot?

Seriously, decaf is so underrated. Everyone acts like it's punishment coffee from the 90s. But the way they make it now is way better, no weird taste. I started drinking it when my sleep got bad, and brewing it right makes all the difference. Your coffee group just has old ideas stuck in their heads. Fresh beans and a good method change the whole game.

Wait, decaf tastes fine now? I tried some last week and it was still bitter.

Olivia says there's no weird taste now, but idk man. I mean I've tried the fancy fresh beans and all that, but decaf still tastes sort of flat to me. It's missing that sharpness, you know? Like even the best decaf I've had just feels like it's holding back. Maybe the process just takes out too much of what makes coffee taste like coffee.
