Ditched my pour over funnel, now I just stir in the bloom
Used to be super strict about the spiral pour from my gooseneck kettle, took like 4 minutes just for the bloom phase. Last month I got lazy one morning and just dumped the water in and gave it a quick stir with a spoon. Honestly, the cup tasted the same, maybe even better because I stopped overthinking it. Now I save time every brew, but I still keep the kettle for the long pour after. Anyone else drop a fancy step and get better results?
