Tutorial videos vs reading docs, I finally picked one

I spent 3 weeks bouncing between YouTube tutorials and the official docs for Python. Tutorials felt faster but I kept pausing every 2 minutes. Docs were boring but I actually finished one chapter without getting distracted. Ended up sticking with docs for the basics and now I'm wondering, do most beginners learn better one way or the other?
