The library study room that fixed my Git confusion
Last Tuesday I camped out in the quiet study room at the downtown branch to finally learn branches and merges, since my side project kept crashing whenever I tried combining code. After three hours of messing around with commands and reading the same docs, I realized the trick was visualizing the history as a timeline, not a list, and it all clicked. Does anyone else have a weird public spot where your brain just works better for debugging or learning new concepts?

That little coffee shop near my bus stop does that for me. Stuck on a merge conflict once for two days at home, then redid it there on a napkin with a pen. Drawing the branches as actual lines, one going left and one going right, made me see where things crossed. The noise helped too, music and chatter somehow make it easier to focus than silence. Now I go there whenever a rebase starts feeling like a maze. It is strange how a change of air can fix your brain.
