That one friend who said 'just use W3Schools' was actually right

My buddy Dave from a Python meetup in Dallas told me to stop overthinking and just learn basic HTML from W3Schools. I ignored him for 3 months thinking it was outdated. Once I actually tried it, I built my first simple webpage in 2 hours. Has anyone else had someone give advice that seemed too basic but actually worked?

Waited 3 months to learn what Dave said in 3 minutes.

36 days of back and forth emails just to get a straight answer that any halfway competent manager should've given on day one. Reminds me of how every corporate process is just layers of people protecting their own job by making everything take twice as long as it needs to, @emmaj33. I swear half these companies would collapse if someone just answered a question directly instead of scheduling a meeting about it 2 weeks out.
