PSA: That $60 'Learn Python Fast' course was a total waste

I bought it last fall thinking it would shortcut the basics, but the guy just read the official docs out loud for 8 hours. The projects were all broken, and the 'support forum' was just other lost beginners. Has anyone found a decent starter course that actually explains things like you're five?

Ugh, same. Mine was just some guy reading a PDF for 6 hours straight.
