PSA: I spent $200 on a 'complete' Python course that was just a bunch of YouTube links

I bought an online bundle from a site that looked good, but all the 'lessons' were just free videos from other people. It felt like a total scam and I lost my money. What's a real beginner course you guys actually trust?

Ugh that's so frustrating. What site was it? I've been burned by those fake bundles before too.

Honestly that "complete course" being just youtube links is such a scam, I'd be so mad. Tbh a lot of those bundle sites are really shady like that. For a real start, I always tell people to just do the free stuff on Codecademy or freeCodeCamp first. They actually build the lessons themselves and you won't waste any money.

Yeah I saw a whole thread about that last week, @robinson.wren is totally right. People were saying the same thing, that half the links were dead or just playlists anyone could find. FreeCodeCamp is solid for starting out, no weird surprises.
