Honestly that's just how modern tech feels sometimes... like we keep adding layers of complexity that end up breaking the simple stuff. It happens with phone chargers and smart home gadgets too, where nothing wants to work together nicely. You just want a tool to do one job, but it's buried under all this other junk fighting for control. Makes you miss when things were a bit more straightforward, even if they did less.

Yeah, version conflicts are the worst. Feels like you're fixing the tool instead of using it.

Totally get that. I used to think more features were always better, but now I see how much time gets wasted just making things talk to each other. It really does kill the whole point of having the tool in the first place.
