Paid $50 for a premium coding bootcamp prep course and it was a complete waste

I signed up for this online prep class before starting a bootcamp, thinking it would give me a leg up on things like loops and functions. The instructor rushed through everything and the materials felt like a rehash of free YouTube videos. Did anyone else find paid prep courses helpful, or do you think they are just taking money from beginners?

Complete waste" is right. Paid prep is usually just free stuff wrapped in a fancy package. Save your fifty bucks and grind through a YouTube playlist instead.

Complete waste" is exactly right. I dropped $60 on a "premium" SAT prep course and it was literally just the same stuff I found for free on Khan Academy. Never again.
