My senior dev told me to stop using comments and I fought back for 3 weeks
After he made me debug a 200 line function with zero comments for two days, I finally saw his point, but has anyone else found that removing comments just makes you write better variable names instead?

Skip comments and write self-documenting code, but keep them for the why not the how.
