My first Python script deleted my entire 'Documents' folder at 2 AM
I was testing a file cleaner and messed up the path variable, so it wiped everything instead of the test folder. Anyone know a good data recovery tool for Windows 10 that actually works?

Saw a tech blog last year where someone did the same thing with a Python script. They used Recuva and got most of their stuff back, but it was a huge pain. The free version worked okay for them, but they said to stop using the drive right away. Every little bit you write makes it harder to get the old files back. Good luck man, that's a rough way to learn.
