My cat walked across my keyboard 2 hours into a Python tutorial in Cleveland and I have been chasing that error ever since
So last Tuesday I finally sat down to actually learn Python. I got my laptop set up at the kitchen table in Cleveland, made a cup of coffee, and pulled up a free tutorial for total beginners like me. About 2 hours in, I was feeling pretty good, typing out a little program that asked for your name and then said hello back. I got up to grab a snack, and my cat Biscuit jumped right onto the keyboard, walked the whole length of it, and sat down. When I came back, there was a red error message covering half my screen, something about an IndentationError on line 12, and my nice little program was totally scrambled. I spent the next 40 minutes googling what indentation even meant, only to find out I had messed up my spaces, and honestly Biscuit probably typed cleaner code than I did. Does anyone else have a pet that sabotages their practice time, or is it just mine?
