My buddy the CS grad laughed when I said I learned Python from a $15 Udemy course
He told me real devs learn from official docs and open source projects, but I've already built 3 working scripts while he's still debating which framework to start with. Anyone else find that paid courses get you coding faster than trying to read through dry documentation?

Didn't I read somewhere that understanding the basics helps you fix things faster later on?
