I ignored the "just pick one language" advice for 8 months and it worked out fine
Everyone on here kept telling me to stop jumping between Python, JavaScript, and C# and just stick with one, but once I built the same tiny to do list app in all three I finally understood what loops and functions actually do instead of just copying whatever tutorial I was on.
