Hot take: a guy at the library in Tulsa showed me one line of code and it finally clicked
I was at the downtown library in Tulsa about 3 weeks ago, stuck on a Python exercise where my loop kept printing the wrong numbers. An older guy at the next table leaned over and asked if I wanted a hint, then pointed at my indentation and said "Python cares about your spaces more than you do." I moved one line over by 4 spaces and it ran perfectly on the first try. I'd been staring at that thing for 40 minutes. What small dumb thing finally made coding click for you?
