I was sitting at my kitchen table in Boise last Tuesday, staring at a for loop that kept printing the same number 10 times instead of counting up. I had been messing with it for 3 days straight and almost gave up, but then I realized I put the increment outside the loop body. I moved that one line of code inside the curly braces and it worked on the first run. I actually yelled out loud and my roommate thought something was wrong. What small bug fix made you feel like a real programmer for the first time?
