Tested a worn out .375 end mill on a piece of 304 stainless yesterday

I figured I could squeeze one more part out of it and it snapped 2 minutes in, sending the insert flying across the shop. Has anyone else had a tool decide to give up in the most dramatic way possible?

Wait, you had an end mill with an actual insert on it?

My uncle tried using one to carve a turkey last Thanksgiving and chipped his countertop.
