Spent $200 on fancy coolant that wrecked my inserts in 2 shifts

I was dead set that the premium synthetic was worth it, but after talking to a swarf dog at a shop in San Antonio he showed me how the cheap stuff actually works better for aluminum. Has anyone else had a brand totally fail on something basic like that?

Are you sure it wasn't a bad batch from the supplier?

Bet you it's the additives messing with the surface tension or something like that.
