Serious question, the night guy at my plant in Tulsa showed me one small thing about deburring
Last Tuesday the guy on third shift watched me fight a burr on 40 aluminum parts for almost an hour and just grabbed a different stone from his box. He did two passes by hand, maybe 15 seconds each, and the edge was clean. Has anyone else had an old timer hand you a tool and make you feel dumb in the best way?
Grab a hard Arkansas stone and a soft one next time you're at the bench. The hard stone cuts slow and keeps its shape, so it won't dig in and roll a new edge on you. The trick the old guy probably had is knowing your burr was already thin, so he switched to something fine and just knocked it off instead of grinding at it. Try two light passes at a different angle than your last one and see if that edge comes off clean.
