Gashed my hand on a burred edge piece last night
Was running a part on our old Haas VF-2 around 9pm and a piece of swarf I didn't clean off caught my glove and tore it right open on the finish pass. Ended up at urgent care getting 4 stitches in my thumb. Anyone else have a close call from a tiny chip they overlooked?

Four stitches for a little burr? Sounds like that chip wanted a piece of you, lol. Bet that glove is going in the trash with a proper funeral now. At least it wasn't a lathe accident, those are way nastier from what I've heard. Hope the thumb heals up quick, maybe get a solid grip on your coffee mug by the weekend. Little bits of metal always seem to be the ones that bite back the hardest, huh?
