Blew $400 on a 5-axis post processor that was basically unusable

I was getting tired of manually editing G-code for complex 3D parts on my Haas. Found a post processor from a small company online for $400 that claimed to support our specific machine. Spent two full weekends trying to get it to run without crashes. Every toolpath had weird arc errors that would gouge the part. Ended up scrapping it and going back to Fusion 360's built-in post. Anyone else get burned buying a standalone post processor?

Oh man, that stings! I feel your pain on wasting time AND money on a tool that just doesn't deliver.

$60 down the drain on a "smart" garden sensor that couldn't tell a dry plant from a wet sponge.

Ngl, that's rough. I had a similar deal with a cam plugin that kept crashing on helix moves. What finally worked for me was reaching out to the local Haas rep directly and asking for their free post configs, which somehow ran way cleaner than anything I bought.
