Spent $340 on a laser engraver attachment that was supposed to turn my router into a money printer
Bought one of those cheap diode laser add-ons for my CNC router last month thinking I could crank out custom coasters and signs with zero extra setup. Two bits of plywood later the thing was so out of focus and slow that a simple 6 inch logo took 45 minutes and looked like a raccoon did it with a soldering iron. Anyone else get burned by bolting one of these onto a machine it was never meant for, or did I just pick the wrong one?
